Our mission here at SRI is to provide our customers and community with the best full service reinforcing steel business available. We strive not to be the largest shop, but the most qualified and reliable group of individuals that customers can rely and depend on for all their reinforcing steel needs.

We have over 30 years of reinforcing steel experience. The owner, Greg Kinderman has been around rebar for most of his life. His father owned a very successful reinforcing steel company for which Greg grew up around and started working for as soon as he was old enough. These many years of rebar experience gave him an edge with opening his own shop. He created Sonoma Reinforcing, Inc. (SRI) in 2004. Our first shop was located in Cloverdale, CA until 2008 when we moved to our current location at 10001 Old Redwood Hwy in Windsor. SRI provides what few other local reinforcing steel companies can’t, full service, and individualized attention to each and every job. Everything is done in-house here at SRI.

Please be advised that our outdoor shop is subject to close without notice due to inclement weather conditions such as:
Rain, Thunderstorms, High Wind, and Extreme Heat / Cold.

For our staff’s safety, pick up of will-call orders will not be available in any severe weather conditions. Deliveries may also be affected. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
